just having a project of a new year. Just hit open. Oh, you got a sign in it. Yeah. So, it's down. And the photo's in there. Yeah. Thank you. Oh. Thank you. Alright. Sing Hallelujah to the Lord, sing Hallelujah to the Lord, sing Hallelujah to the Lord, sing Hallelujah, sing Hallelujah, sing Hallelujah to the Lord, Jesus is right up on the cross. Jesus has died upon the cross. Jesus has died. Jesus has died. Jesus has died upon the cross. And He's coming back to claim his own. He's coming back to claim his own. He's coming back to claim his own. He's coming back. He's coming back. He's coming back to claim his own. So sing Hallelujah to the Lord. Sing Hallelujah to the Lord, sing Hallelujah to the Lord, sing Hallelujah to the Lord. Good morning, everyone. We hope that your week has been prosperous for you and that the horsepower provides you with all that you need to be present this morning. I want to say that the present is good morning to everybody. With the body of announcements, we've got some things that are coming up. I'm going to break your attention. Okay, let's get started. First of all, last Friday in this month, which is next to the 29th. That's going to be at the Golden Gate Avenue Church of Christ in San Francisco. We'll have to encourage everybody to, if you can, be in attendance. That's what we have worship singing with representatives from communication, lead songs and everybody sings in for a joyful experience. So we'll encourage you to be in participation. The time that starts is at 730 pm. I know it's a lot of traffic for a lot of people, whatever you. But in the way that starts at 730 pm, it's Friday singing. There's also coming up. Let me get beyond myself here. The part we took to Christ, located in Sacramento there, have scheduled for a Yosemite Bible camp and Yosemite Bible camp scheduled for July the 18th through the 25th. The information that's provided for you is that the theme would be, I guess, the current taken from the Book of Romans chapter 12. There's a barcode here. I'll be able to give that to you. That's on the display. And if you enter state, you can go in and look at everything that's required of you in order to register and be in attendance. There's also an evangelism training that's coming up. That's what should I say. That's every second and fourth monthbies at 530 pm. I have been information to you for you available as well. Please give me that's a number here in the Zuma ID and a passcode that I have for you. So I have it on my phone safety. So after service at any time, I'll give me a call in any time if you'd like to participate in that. That's all going to be as I indicate it on the second and fourth Mondays, the second and fourth Mondays of every month. We've got some major things that's coming up here. I'm going to get to them. I think I got one more going on. Okay, there's also going to be a special treat. The Scarlet Mountain plays the wizard. And that's the judge is going to be the participant I believe. And that's scheduled for June the 7th, the 13th, the 14th and the 21st June the 7th, 13th, 14th and 24th. So if you'd need this information later give with me. I have a save here on my phone. The wizard of the bars. Thank you so much. And then that's not for this comment. Forget about this coming weekend. We have a fellowship here next Sunday and family friends coming together. I'm looking for a wonderful time. There's going to be a few surprises. So we encourage you to be here next Sunday for that. I want to also take this opportunity in this time to thank all my brothers and sisters for all that you do. I know there are people who do things that are not seen and sometimes, you know, there's things that little things, but little things make a difference and we want to just say we appreciate this so much. And in recognition of that, of course, why we want to thank our cleanup team that's given to the task of Johnny and his wife. I know I missed the last couple, but my health is getting better now. So your prayers. And I will to do what God would have me to do as well as all of us. We can accomplish things not only this season without the rest of this year. And we can be found as workers together in the Lowe's kingdom. I want to say about we have encouragement that you'd be encouraged because I'm encouraged by you, but that we also encourage others in the face. Generally, so good to see you this morning. Praise the Lord. Amen. As well as all of you, prayers are powerful, Ben. And here recently, boy, then it's come, come at you when you're trying to do the Lowe's will. Remains, focus, remains faithful in the Lowe. He will see you through. So come and may not seem like things are going the way that you want them to do, but realize always they're going to wait the God and wants them to. Amen. Praise the Lord. And now we will begin opening it with our wishes to serve with water prayer from the haven to come before us with the song as well. Thank you. Father and heaven, we've given thanks, kind father, for you allowing us to be out of our beds this morning. Watching us through night and giving us safe past the cheer that we make come together to stay father to worship you. Seeing songs to your high and holy name feast upon your magnificent word. Thankful kind father for our brothers, minister of Carlos who is doing a great job of both in teaching and preaching and praying that you just continue to bless him and his wife and his daughter as they strive to do your will and to serve here. Thankful for all the brothers who as Joe had mentioned earlier that have worked in the background, getting the audio and visual together, just all those things that are being done. Taking care of the buildings, taking care of all the things that need to be done to help us work together more more. We're praying, kind father, that as we go into this worship service, that we keep our minds and hearts centered on your word. And that our hearts may be encouraged by that which we participate in and here for me, magnificent word. Continue to be with us, kind father, continue to protect us, because we recognize kind father, that we could do nothing without you thinking of love upon us each new moment in our lives. It's in your most wonderful son, Jesus, his name, would you pray in you these things? Let us all say, Amen. Amen. 398. 398. For a second and fourth status. 398. All have it. Show me, see. There's a happy land of promise over in the cliff, We are with a saver of our shall soon our glory share, We're with a souls of my children, and they're far forever more. Three hundred forty-six, three hundred forty-six, for a second and four stances. Three forty-six if we all have it. Showsy. Time is filled with swift transition. Not over the mushyestang. But juffles on things he turned old. And full to God's unchanging hand. So everybody ought to hold to his hand. To walk us unchanging. And why don't you hold to his hands? To God's unchanging hand. We got to bet a full song facing. Hold to God's unchanging hands. And trust in him who will not leave you. What so ever his may bring. And if I have faithful say God still, more closely to him play. Hold to God's unchanging hand. And if anybody ought to hold to his hand. To walk us unchanging. Why don't you hold to his hands? To God's unchanging hand. We got to bet a full song facing. Turn old. Why don't you hold to God's unchanging hands. 345. 345. 345. 345. Don't have it. Show us. When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound. Time shall be no more. And the morning breaks the turn of light. Who in the save of our shall gather. Over on the other shore. And the role is called up. Yunder, I'll be there. And when the well is called up. Yunder, I'll be there. Yes, we'll know. It's called up. I'll be there. Yes, we'll know. It's called up. Yunder, I'll be there. And when the well is called up. Yunder, I'll be there. On their bright and glorious morning. With the dead Christ shall rise. And the glory of his resurrection. With his chosen one shall gather. Over on the other's side. And then the well is called up. Yunder, I'll be there. And when the well is called up. Yunder, I'll be there. Yes, we'll know. It's called up. Yunder, I'll be there. Yes, we'll know. Yunder, I'll be there. And when the well is called up. Yunder, I'll be there. So, let us labor for the master of the dark. Till setting sun. Let us talk of all his wonders of decay. And then when all the life is over, And our work cornered is done. And the world is called up. Yunder, I'll be there. Yes, we'll know. Yunder, I'll be there. Yes, we'll know. Yunder, I'll be there, yes. Yunder, I'll be there. Yunder, I'll be there. Yes, we'll know. Yunder, I'll be there. Yunder, I'll be there. Yunder, I'll be there. Yunder, I'll be there. Yes, we'll know. Yunder, I'll be there. Yunder, I'll be there. them But Pilate asked of him Them saying Will you that I recently released unto you the king of the Jews For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy But the chief priests moved the people that they should rather will be brought us unto them And Pilate asked and said again unto them What will you then that I should do unto him whom you call the king of the Jews And they cried out again Then Pilate said unto them why what people have he done And they cried out the more exceedingly Crucify him And so Pilate went unto content the people of the east of the mountains unto them And delivered Jesus When he had scores them to be crucified And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called for terror And they called together the whole council And they clothe him with purple to plound the crowd of bronze And put it about his head And began to settle with him, hell, king of the Jews And they slowed him on the head with the read and did spit upon him And bow on their knees and worship him And when they had mocked to him They took off the purple from him And put his own clothes on him And they led him out to crucify him And they compelled one side of the Serenian Passed by coming out of the country The part of Alexandria and Rufus embarrassed cross And they bring him to the playscork off of which is interpreted The playscork of the school And they gave him the drink, wine, mingle with the meryl Whether he received it or not And when he had crucified him They parted his gosh, garments Cast on a massive omen with every man to take And it was the third hour and they is in the blessing business But only those will really know the truth Effective of his blessing are those who become obedient We pray that each of us will We know we are human We know this upon the flesh And the desires of the flesh That sometimes even are greater than the spirit But we know being found in the spirit At all times we have opportunity to call upon God To editing in our thought process and in our decision making With that in mind Let each of us prepared a gift That's God is blessed us Please believe me in the word of prayer You'll know I got him in the Father We are put your And 361 is our current selection. 361. All that. Show us in. This world is not my home. I'm just a passing through. My treasures are laid up. Somewhere beyond the blue. They ain't just backing me from heaven's open door. And I can't feel at all men this world anymore. Oh Lord, you know I have no friend like you. If ever it's not my home, then law what will I do? They ain't just backing me from heaven's open door. And I can't feel at all men this world anymore. They're all expecting me. And that's one thing I know. My savior fought in me. And now I'll go. I know he'll take me through. Who I am waking for. And I can't feel at all men this world anymore. Oh Lord, you know. I have no friend like you. If ever it's not my home, then law what will I do? If ever it's not my home, then law what will I do? They ain't just backing me from heaven's open door. And I can't feel at all men this world anymore. Men, men, men, men, men, men, men. Please join me in another word of prayer. Father, we thank you again for this gathering and this assembly. It's a privilege and an honor to first know you. And to be known and to share and fellowship with fellow believers. Our brothers and sisters who aren't able to do this openly and publicly. But we know that their faith, Lord God, is their testament. And we pray that you keep them safe and their family safe. Help us to not take for granted anything. Not the smallest thing, not the biggest thing. Help us always honor and remember you and all of our thoughts. Behave your speech and actions. Forgive us of our shortcomings. Father, forgive us for being selfish at times. And forgive us for losing focus at times. Sometimes we can get caught up on the material things in this life. We help us to reorient. Refocus, recalibrate. That we can prioritize you at the top of our list every day. Thank you for your forgiveness. As far as the East is from the West, Lord God, you forgive. You remember no more. Help us to be better for givers. When someone is harmed us, sometimes our hearts can grow hard. And many of us are sensitive, whether we want to admit it or not. But help us to have forgiveness in mind because if we want your forgiveness, we have to learn to forgive others. Help us be more accountable to each other. Help us to not be rude, have attitudes or be offensive. And if we are, help us to not only repent, Father, but help us seek reconciliation. Sometimes it's as simple as a conversation. And an apology goes a long way. A genuine apology. Thank you for all the married families here, the married couples. Biden together would love and cause that cannot be broken. Thank you for all of our children. Watch over our children, Lord. Not only when they're not in our presence, but when they're in our presence. You are the greatest protector. Thank you, Lord, for everyone in this room, every heart, every soul, every family, every neighborhood. And bless everyone on Zoom. Thank you for this platform to be able to engage virtually. Thank you for their presence virtually. Thank you for the West side, congregation. That's a part of the body of Christ. The praise and we bless you with a Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Indeed, there's a beautiful day today on the eve of Memorial Day. So I owe you guys back some time today. So I'm telling you, amen. Whenever a carry up is up here and he's just being himself. I'm done. I feel like I can't come behind that. So I think I'm thankful for God and the way he works through our brother. And thankful for those of the service. Hey, what always appreciate your energy. For the joy, I appreciate you. And even when you're not feeling your best. And I think God for everything that's done behind the scenes like Brother Joe Shade. There are so many of you guys doing things that are unseen. Right? Sometimes that stuff is more important than the scene stuff. So many of you guys are doing things without having to be publicly acknowledged. But I want everybody to know this and everybody to remember this. Everything you do for the Lord and the Lord's name is not done and vain. You may have been serving in one capacity for 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 30 years. It's not a vain. God sees and God knows and God is a rewarder. God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. See, in life, we sometimes work for awards. A awards. Yes. And we sometimes get upset and we can get the A award. But at the end of the day, the more than an A award, we want the reward. And we want God's rewards. Yes. Number 21. They travel from Mount O'er along the route to the Red Sea to go around even. The Bible says that people grew a patient on the way. Anybody ever get a patient? Sometimes when we get a patient, we say things that we do things, George, we are very, very harmful and harmful. Now, up until this point, the people of God when they complained, they complained to against one person. His name was Moses. They said, Moses, why did you bring us out of here? Why did you bring us, why did you lead us from bondage? Why did you lead us from slavery? And why did you bring us out here to this wilderness to die? They continued to complain and get Moses at this point in time. This is the first time in Israel's history that the complaint went above Moses. Because the Bible says, no, here they spoke against God and Moses. So now they took the complaint above them. They spoke against God and against Moses. Why have you brought us out of each of today in the wilderness? There is no bread. There is no water. And then he says, we detect this miserable fool. So now you're lying. God didn't reign, man, if I'm heaven. And water from your rock. But y'all tired of that fool. Y'all know we'd be tired of rice and beans. But see there are so many different type of beans. There's red beans, butter beans, black beans, pork and beans. Pinto beans, black out peas. Y'all know there's so many, then there's so many ways you can prepare beans. But sometimes we just get stuck or wasn't front of us. And we forget to appreciate God's providential hand. We don't want this anymore. Now the fool is miserable. And first we had nothing. That was miserable. Oh, y'all some time. That's why I ain't going to stay there too long. God don't play that stuff. So you know what? He's sitting, he sits, venomous snakes. It was one thing when y'all are complaining to his Moses. But now you put my name in it. Or y'all gonna feel this wrath. The Lord said, venomous snakes among them. They beat the people and many Israelites died. This isn't our first time covering this. The people came to Moses and said, we sinned. And we spoke against the Lord. And it gets you. See, that was a time when they spoke against Moses. It said Moses. Why you got to talk to God directly, man? Let God talk to us. So then God spoke with one thunder and lightning. And Mount Sinai and the mountain turned into smoke. And the people were scared. They said, okay, Moses, go back to talk to you. Because if he talked to us, we go now. There are no people made where not short of complaints. This is why you have rotten tomatoes and why you have you. But why you have so many places where people can go and express their complaints. And you know what we do? We go and we feast off of that stuff. We don't go try for ourselves. We want to hear what others say and what others think. But look what complaining gets you. We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and it gets you. Pray that the Lord will take the stakes away from us. Now I don't know about sure. But if I'm in Moses's shoes, I ain't saying nothing. I'm tired of your folks. Roxanne, I'm tired of y'all. I remember the me with that little boy in church. I'm tired of his church. Right? But nevertheless, this is why Moses was the weakest man. Moses prayed for the people. How many of y'all would have prayed? They just got through complaining about you. The Lord said to Moses, make a snake and put it on a pole. Anyone who was bitten can look at it and live. So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Anybody still see this pole today? Yes. You see it oftentimes when you go to your doctor's appointments. And in hospitals. On your medication prescriptions. It's almost like a memorial. When anyone was bitten by a snake, they looked at the bronze snake and they lived. Do the wrong of me, chapter eight. May you familiar passage. Jesus quotes this passage in Matthew four. When you attribute Moses as the writer to find the five books of Moses, the Torah, the law, the Moses is reminding the people not to write as we are in the promise land. Let me give you a reminder of the law. Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today. So that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land, the Lord promised, and oath to your ancestors. Remember, see a memorial is always meant for memory and to remember. Because oftentimes, as humans, we're forgetful. We forget who God is. We forget what others have done for us. We forget. We're forgetful. I think Janet Jackson said it. What have you done for me lately? I don't know if it's selective memory. Or if it's just a lack of gratitude and appreciation. But we forget. Moses said, remember, I don't know if it's selective memory. Or if it's just a lack of gratitude and appreciation. But we forget. Moses said, remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these 40 years to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart. Whether or not you would keep us commands. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with matter. Here's the lesson. God will humble us when we're doing bad and when we're doing good. You see sometimes it feels like it's easier when we don't have anything, George. Oh God, I need you. Are you old? But then when our stomach's a fool, we forget about God. See, when we're hungry, man, where am I going to eat? Lord, help. But once you eat, once God provides, sometimes we forget about God. And sometimes we forget that it was God who fed us. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with matter. That's this old chapter, which neither you know your ancestors had known to cheat you. That man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. You see physical fool, it's not eternal fool. Because on this life, on this side of life you eat, you get hungry again. I would even go as far as to say physical fool doesn't even sustain you. Only the word of God can sustain and keep you. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with matter, which neither you know your ancestors had known. To teach you that man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. You're closed in that world, and you're feet in that swell during those 40 years. You know we get caught up in name brands. We got to have a certain brand, certain style. We're in a fashion. We don't just dress, you know, to be closed. We got to be stylish. But in 40 years in the wilderness, you're closed in even where I. Your feet did not swell. Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you. Moses says observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, prepare yourself. A land with brooks, streams and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills. A land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees. See when we talk about the harvest, the barley comes before the wheat. Jesus is referred to as the barley because barley is a more of a humble or weak. A land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees. Anybody like pomegranates? You all ain't got time for that. It's a lot of work for them seeds. Me and my wife go back and forth about eating the seeds. I eat the whole seed. Olive oil and honey. You all know we got all kind of olive oils now. I like the harissa oil and spicy. Right, we have infused oils. A land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing. A land where the rocks are iron and you can deep cop right out of the hills. See, Moses trying to prepare them from struggle, from surviving to thriving. Humility is the key. He says, when you have eaten and are satisfied, this is where our media less are now. Taste to see that God is good. And when you taste to see that He's good and your stomach is full. See, first it starts off with, man, I just want to die. I want a career. And then you get the job, you get the career and you get settled and you get promoted. And now your income is better, right? Now your lifestyle is zip code is better, right? Or maybe you already born in a zip code, right? Maybe you already born in the best zip code and you went to the best schools. Your parents provided for you. Praise God. He says, when you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God. For the good land He's given you. Sometimes we forget to praise God that He's provided. Sometimes we forget to praise God that He has kept certain things from us. He says, when you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land He's given you. Do to run in May 11th, be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God. See, we're coming up on Memorial Day tomorrow. And do we understand that Memorial Day is a holiday that is set aside for people to memorialize and to remember, Fallen soldiers who have died during war and battle. See, that's what Memorial Day commemorates. But what oftentimes is left out of this Memorial Day conversation, is it's true origin and the fact that it was actually a celebration from free slaves. Because the greatest war on this land was still civil war, right? And when the Confederates left after the war, there was this prison that remained behind. And there were about 257 bodies buried in this prison. And this was in Charleston, Carolina, South Carolina. And so these free slaves, these newly free slaves on May 1st, 1865. That's left out in history, but it's dark you, many. They wanted to give these buried prisoners a proper burial. So they brought them bodies up and put them in graves. And they had a whole mob memorial. They had a parade. This was festive. This is the birth and the origin of what we know as Memorial Day. But see, you only know that stuff if you take time to read about the true history. Because in America, they like the white-wash history. But the point is, Memorial Day now honors all of the fallen soldiers of various wars. So we have memorials to memorialize. It's a memorialized. It's a memorialized. It's a memorialized. But God has always been about memorials and remembering. Remember, this is why he had to tell the time and time again. I am the Lord, your God, that brought you out of Egypt. Because just that quick we forget. Three days after God brought them out of Egypt, they came and complained. Moses, why'd you bring us out here to die? God said, smite the rock. Ray, man, I'm from heaven. This is three days. And for 40 years, they wanted and wielded and it's because God had to test them. And humble them to see what's in their heart. Because, you know, we love to say, oh, how I love Jesus and how good God is and it's fake. Because as soon as trial happens, no way to be found. When we're hungry, God, help, please, God, where are you? Now here's the flip side of that. Because some of us, we don't turn the God more hungry. Some of us turn to our ingenuity. Our self-preservation. I'm going to go out and get it on my own and I'm going to make it happen. I'm going to dig yourself in a deeper hole and make it worse. And then you remember, God is good. Let me turn the God. This is what happened with the Lawson. He said, Daddy, drop dead and pay me my money. That's literally the translation in the Jewish culture. Drop dead. Give me my inheritance. What she didn't even... He goes out as far as his money. Yes? He says, my father has servants who are eating good. Let me come back. He knows where to go and where to return. He knows where the good is. The good good. He knows where the greatest is. And this is us. We go out and we try to get it on our own and figure it out on our own. Only for us to realize God. So he says, when you have eaten in our satisfied, praise the Lord. Your God for the good He's given you. Be careful that you do not forget to lure your God. Filling service commands as long as it's a crease that I'm giving you this day. Otherwise, when you eat in our satisfied, some of us in here are doing well. God has brought you a mighty long way. That's somebody's show. God has brought you from the myary clay, the muck, the struggle to trenches the bottom. Hey, God has brought you from the ICU from the jail cell, from the wait room, the home tank, the emergency room, the back alleys, the back seat of a car. We can run it. Some of us have been there at all of us have been somewhere. And now you look good. Now you educate it. Now you are profound. Now you somebody. People look up to you. People come to you. He said, when you don't forget to observe the commands and laws and the crees. Because if not otherwise, when you eat in our satisfied, when you build your fine houses and settle down. I don't know, that's all we want to just a little bit of peace and quiet. I just want to live in a community where there's no gunshots, no violence, no loud noise. I don't know if some of us used to be the perpetrators and pervellers allowed noise. Help me, somebody. I'm sure about Jay had a old school box Chevy. Fifty's in the trunk. Said enough car alarms. He's still with it. He come to San Mateo and now you are quiet. You know they're right. I'm taking it. I can't ride through San Mateo like he wrote through his Oakland. All we want is a little peace and quiet. Don't forget God. Because otherwise, when you settle down and build fine houses and when you're heard and flux grow large and your silver and gold and crease and all you have is multiplied. Then your heart will come proud. And you'll forget that the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt out of the land of slavery. This is a message for all of us. You weren't always where you are now. You may not be where you want to be, but you weren't where you were. He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness that thirsty and waterless land with his venomous snakes. We just read about the venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. Talk about hard rock cafe. He gave you mana to eat in the wilderness. Something your ancestors had never known to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you. You may say to yourself, my power and my strength of my hands I produced as well for me. See, this is the pride right here. Sometimes we think, I did this. I worked hard. I didn't need anybody's help. I got it out the mud. I went to school. I got this degree. I put it in the word. Don't do it to yourself, church. Don't say that to yourself. Don't forget about God like that. It's not because you had such a great diet or you managed your money so well. Or you never been to the club. Or you never had sex outside of marriage. Or you were always a straight A student. And you always were at church. And you would never do what they did. You may say to yourself, my power and my strength of my hands I produced as well for me. But remember the Lord your God. For it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth. Remember it is God's providence. Why are you able to produce wealth? Are you the wealthiest person in your home or community? Are you the wealthiest person in your neighborhood? Are you the wealthiest person in your congregation? Maybe not. But remember, God is the one that provided you your wealth. Yes, yes. Remember that people had to celebrate a festival called the feast of boosts. And every year for seven days they had to live in a makeshift tabernacle. So remember that God provided for them in the wilderness. They were made to memorialize the struggle. They were made to memorialize the challenge. Otherwise they'll forget God. And they'll go back home to their nice sweets. They'll go back home to their nice fashion. They'll go back home to full stomachs. The good things in life. Remember there was a man also in Luke who was rich. And we don't even know his name. We don't know that he was independent. We don't know that he was an heir. We don't know how he got as wealth. But he was rich. And it was a begger laid in his gate named Lazarus. They both died. One went to Abraham's bosom. The other went into the hidden world. Yeah. Where he was tormented. But does it say that he was a robber? Does it say that the rich man got his money by getting over on people? Nah, he was just wealthy. And that's why Jesus teaches us. It's dangerous to put your confidence in wealth. Yeah. And we're from the richest. That's the fates. Right? And a lot of us will. Man. A lot of us will work overtime. Two, three jobs. Just to get ahead. Kill our bodies. Loose sleep. Just so we can secure our finances. And it takes a toll on our, not only our bodies, but our families. That rich man had the good things in life. But Lazarus had the hard things in life. Remember the Lord your God. For it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth. And so confirms his covenant. Which he swore to your ancestors as it is today. If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other guys and worship and bow down to them. I testify against you today that you will truly be destroyed. Like the nations, the Lord destroyed before you. So you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God. Later on in chapter 90 tells him, man, I didn't choose you because you were the strongest people. You were the least in number. So I will never forget that God chose you. God sought you. Not because you were so sweet. Not because you were so great. Not because you were so kind. God chose you because he, There was something about you that was miserable. He said, now remember Jesus said, I didn't come for the, the healthy and the whole. I came for the sick. At some point all of us were sick. All of us were all of us were a need of a physician. And then you met Jesus and he heals you and he washes you and he keeps you. Keeps you whole. Don't forget about him. Tomorrow when you eat your potato salad and your baked beans and your ribs. And you eat your barbecue. And you, and I don't know why you do it. You might do it in an honor of Memorial Day or it might just be a reason to get together to eat barbecue. Some of you all put potatoes. Some of you all put raises in your potato salad. All right. Whatever you do, whatever you do tomorrow, as you, as you, as you, as you honor Memorial Day. Don't forget about God. Don't forget about God who provided this food on your plate. Don't just remember God when it's time to sit down and eat. Remember God and everything you do. Remember God brought you a mighty long way. And you have clothes on your back because God provided clothes on your back. You have health care because God provided you health care. You have a roof over your head because God provided you shelter. You have strength in your arms, strength in your legs. You are in your right mind. You are in your same mind. When at one point in time, you will lost your who you had lost everything. You were tormented by nightmares and demons every night. But God rescued you and God delivered you. Don't forget about God. Don't forget about God when your stomach is full. When you take off that belt and loosen your stomach. Don't forget about God. Don't forget about God when you jump in that, that sort of pro mattress. When you jump on that temporary. When you turn on that hot water. When you're eating, when you're drinking fresh water. When you're drinking bottled water. When you're drinking alcohol. Don't forget about God. Don't forget about God when you go happy in your car. And you complain about these five six dollar gas prices. Oh yeah. Almost seven out. Don't forget about God when gas hits eight dollars. Don't forget about God when your electricity bill comes in the summer. And you've been running your AC. Don't forget about God. Because you're still in the car. Don't forget about God. What somebody picks you up and gives you a ride. Don't forget about God when you're over it lift. Don't forget about God when you walk. Yeah, don't forget. Otherwise you'll get full. And you'll say, I did this. I made this happen. I worked hard. I got it myself. I don't need you, God. Don't forget God. Don't forget God when you are in your. Don't forget God. God, I woke me up at 4 a.m. Another day. All right. My man is a reason why I'm up at 4 a.m. All right. Couldn't go back to sleep. I'm like, you know what? I got to pray. Amen. I could have just been a Lord. Help me get back to sleep. I don't know. Watch over my family. Watch over my wife and daughter. Thank you for how far you brought me. And then I realized, no, God, I got me out for more than that. I got some people to pray for. Yes. Some people that ask me for prayers. But then God touched me a certain way. I said, hey, there's some people you need to pray for. You need to pray for those situations. Yes. See Moses prayed for the people, when the Spirit of the Snakes was bite, and they said, Moses prayed for us. Me, I was. I'm not praying for nothing. Y'all go learn this lesson and stop calling on my, stop, stop playing with my man. Oh, that's me. That ain't y'all. That's me. Right. But Moses prayed. And God said. Put the snake on the pole. If they look at it, they live. I'm not by four in the morning, go, are you praying, I'm like, man, let me, and I'm praying for people who have done me wrong. I'm praying for people who are talking about me. Okay. I'm praying for people who don't have my best interest, hey, would it? Okay. And I'm praying for people who are fighting terminal illness. I'm telling y'all, man, before I get to that point. Get on your knees and pray. Or God will wake you up before in the morning. To gather your attention. That's not a punishment or anything, but don't forget about God. I don't know who's here this morning. He's been living, existing, life is good. Don't forget about God. But somebody here knows this morning, I haven't really been keeping God in all that I do. I haven't been observing his commands in his way. Yeah, I read my devotional. That's cool. But I haven't been, look, I got to the point, man, where I realize that in Jewish culture, they were afraid to even say, Yahweh's name. They had that much fear of reverence. I had to realize every time I read God's word, I'm reading a holy word. I can't play with this. Lord, thank you for access to this word. And guide me in your truth. I feel so privileged and honored to pick up God's word and read it. I can't read it without a manifest. I just feel as disrespectful, that's me. Now, when I really read, I'm really reading for understanding and truth. But his word means that much to me that I have to give thanks before I read it. And then I think about there are some of us who don't even read his word. It's out of finger tips. And we could care less. And I'm like, man, I remember when I was there, you care about reading. I'm boring. But read no Bible. I don't even understand this stuff. Now, I'm out of places to read. I'm like, man, this word is everything to me. I'm watching, I'm watching the mix and calf game. I'm turning this off, man. I'm starting to read my scriptures. It's just all, dude. Look, man, don't let nothing. Don't let nothing. I'm careful how I say this. Don't be moved by anything more than God's word. Don't be entertained by anything more than God's word. Don't be excited about something more than God's word. That's the word I'm looking for. We get excited watching games sevens. I was on my way to see Michael again last weekend for the fourth time. And after last minute, after last minute, they said, yes, Council, I'm like, oh. But then I had to realize, man, you know what? As much as I'm excited to go see Michael again, I'd be more excited than this word. So much good stuff than this word. I'd be excited to go see the kids and their plays and their, you know. Don't forget about God this morning, y'all. Don't forget about God tonight. Don't forget about God in the car. Don't forget about God. What makes it? Before you celebrate your memorial days. Don't forget God. Can we stand the one feet? Don't forget his God that gave you the strength to stand in your feet. Don't forget it was God that gives you strength to move. And I know how it is. We take standing and moving for granted until you can't do it. You know, I see it all the time. The others last one. I remember seeing I can't wait to get my license. My driving license. You know, I'm tired of waiting on this bus and tired of waiting on Bart. I'm tired of walking. About you. I can't wait to drive myself and go, I want to go. And then you know what happens? I get my license. I get a car. I don't feel like going to work. See how we do. That's how we are. That's human behavior. I don't feel like going down the street to get something. I don't feel like giving nobody a ride. Right. I see them in nature. Before then I was walking everywhere. Now I'm like, I don't feel like walking. So even when it comes to standing and moving, you know, there's a lot of things that we do subconsciously and unconsciously. Right. And then we get to a point where I don't feel like doing that. But just like we're standing. Don't forget his guy that give you strength to stand. His guy that put this motion in you. Don't forget about God. Don't forget about his guy that designed these teeth. These draw the skeletal structure. God gave human being the ingenuity to create dentures. His guy that created ingenuity gave you an ingenuity to create medical investment. Don't forget about God. So this morning before you leave, remember God and all that you do. Remember God in all your hunger and when your stomach is full, I don't know who needs to come to God this morning. You do. I don't know who needs to draw near to God this morning. Yes. None of us can make it without you. I mean one second. Don't think for one millisecond. You can make it in this life without God. I need God to keep me going to work on time and being professional. I pray for this job. Provide for my family. But look, I need a Lord keep me professional. Man, I'm about to crash out. Lord, pray for where we live. Keep me humble. Because man, I'll tear this house down. I'll burn this house down. Right? Amen. Don't forget about God. Draw near to Him and He'll draw near to you. Amen. Let us pray. Father, forgive us because sometimes we forget you. We forget to pray to you. We forget to praise you. We forget to serve you. And we prioritize things other than kingdom business. Help us to focus on what's most important. See, Martha had the right idea when she was trying to put the house in order for her house guess when Jesus arrived. But Jesus said Mary has chosen what's more important. He told Martha, you worried about many things but only one thing is required. Father, help us to remember the focus on the main thing. You, your son, Jesus Christ, faithful obedience. And help us to not forget who we belong to. Help us to remember who you are in our lives. Father, sometimes we're young fools and sometimes we're old fools. But help us to walk in your ways and walk in your wisdom. We want to walk after you and please you and serve you and all that we do, Father. Bless you. Bless you, Father God. Keep us, Father, as we depart from this building but never your presence. Let us remember your hand is on every area of our lives. We submit this prayer, we petition this prayer in the name of your son, Jesus. Amen. Amen. God bless. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. This is a sound system also, I know this feeds into the computer version would be able to use kind of the same set up to use. I think that would be a different deal. I think that's what he was talking about. Like the audio for like inside. Oh, so who used both at the same time? Yeah, you can still use that.
